All seven phosphoinositides are found in all higher eukaryotes.

If we were to grind you up, we would be able to see that you contain all of the phosphoinositides. Some labs don't mind treating their post-docs, students, and research assistants like that. In the Field lab we try to avoid that freshly ground-up feeling.
